Trained originally as a Theatrical Prop Maker, I’ve been making silver jewellery inspired by the ancient and antique, as well as nature and natural forms for over ten years. Working with EcoSilver, my jewellery is frequently delicate but can also be bold and dramatic.
Charlotte is so observant of the natural world around her and seems to be able to capture the changes of nature along with the personality of the person she is making the jewellery for in each piece she designs and creates.” – Leigh

What People Say…
Turquoise Necklace and Earrings
…from the start, Charlotte was thorough in ensuring that she knew what I had in mind and offered her advice on design and style as well as taking time to carefully source the right stones. What can I say, but the expression on my wife’s face was priceless!
…It is fair to say that the end result is breath-taking and has made such a special gift that will be treasured forever.
My daughter already has her eye on it as an heirloom.
I chose Charlotte Biba Bouchard Jewellery to help me come up with a new setting to fit my needs as I knew she understood the importance of my cherished item and I valued her creativity and expertise.
Creating My Work
I mainly create my precious metal jewellery in silver with occasional accents of gold although I’m also able to work in both 9 carat and 18 carat gold for commission pieces. In the past year, I have replenished my silver stock with EcoSilver in a bid to be more environmentally friendly and ethical. Made of 100% recycled silver products, EcoSilver gives the same quality results and comes to me with a certificate of authenticity so that you can be assured you’re doing your bit for the environment!
EcoSilver is assayed as Sterling (925) Silver.
I’m proud to have my work hallmarked at the Goldsmiths’ Hall in London as, for me, hallmarking denotes a standard and reassures buyers of quality. I’m often asked what the different symbols mean so thought I’d give a brief rundown of how you can read a hallmark.
CBB is my registered Maker’s Mark, the Britannia Lion denotes British made Sterling Silver and 925 states that the silver is assayed as 925 parts pure silver out of every 1000. The London Assay Office symbol is the leopard and the letter denotes the year of assay which changes every year.
I really enjoy getting involved in the local community, either organising or participating in an array of quality craft markets and events.
Please do come along and say hello, I’d love to meet you!
