Devon Open Studios 2020

This will be my 3rd year taking part in the Devon Open Studios and my 2nd year with the Edge of the Teign collective and obviously we will be making some changes to our space in order to comply with the most up to date Government advice regarding Covid-19. Please see below for further information.

This year we are delighted to include a new artist – Susan who works in mixed media as well as welcoming back the super talented Annie who paints wildlife in incredible ‘larger than life’ detail.

Hearn Field sits on the bank of the River Teign and The Pavilion, within it’s village green, really is Combeinteignhead’s secret gem. We warmly invite you to discover our relaxed location and welcoming venue and hope that you will; enjoy our exciting showcase of diverse art and craftsmanship, watch our demonstrations, talk with us about our inspiration and methods. Why not bring a picnic and stay for a while to fully enjoy all that the Hearn Field has to offer?

IMPORTANT INFORMATION about Covid- 19

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we have implemented a number of changes to the way we will be opening our venue this year. These measures will include; limiting the number of visitors in to the studio at any one time, the expectation that masks will be worn by all the artists and visitors in order to protect us and yourselves, adopting a one way system to maintain the 1m+ social distancing as well as all visitors being required to use hand sanitiser (provided) before entering the venue. Our priority and aim is to ensure that visitors and participants alike will be able to enjoy the event and will feel comfortable and safe to do so. The Edge of the Teign artists are also willing to do all we can to offer a private appointments to people who are shielding or who have additional needs which mean that they are unable to follow the recommendations above. Please contact us and we will do all we can to come to an arrangement.
