I missed posting in February but it’s a short month and sometimes it is hard to fit everything in! In actual fact for me, February went by in a blur of business so, what have I been up to ? What IS new?
I am really so pleased to have launched a shop here on my website. I expect by now you will have had a look and I hope that you will like the simple to navigate layout, clear imagery and straightforward payment facility. Keeping it as simple and clean as possible was my main priority to enable you to browse and buy my jewellery all year around as easily as possible. Featuring a mix of repeatable pieces from my popular collections alongside selected ‘one offs’ you can now buy my unique jewellery at any time making it perfect for presents or pick me up treats for yourself. I hope you enjoy browsing.
In addition to my jewellery, I will be adding vouchers for my popular Beginners Jewellery Experiences once I am able to welcome visitors back to my workshop in May but, if there are other items that you would like to see included, do please let me know as the shop will be under constant review.
Next on my list for business development is to build up my mailing list in order to keep you up to date with information about my jewellery, events, special offers, launches and new listings so please do sign up here if you would like to be added.
Alongside the above tasks, February actually found me super busy in my workshop working on several new and interesting commissions which will be able to see and read more about them on my Jewellery Commissions pages once it is safe to reveal them!
For February’s #RingAMonth challenge I created a piece inspired by the starry night sky. With the theme of Spots, Dots, Stars or Stripes my piece is entitled ‘Sirius, the Dog Star’. We experience such beautiful clear skies here at home with no little or no light pollution that I couldn’t not try to capture that beauty. Nestled in my textured interpretation of the galaxy I set a clear crisp white diamond – Sirius which sparkles brighter than any other star in the sky. Carefully melted edges and a hand applied texture give the ring depth and form and above all I really enjoyed making it. March’s offering has already been made and will be revealed as a commission ring a little later in the month. All in all there has been plenty to keep me busy!
I hope that you have a happy March – Spring is springing and with it comes the sun.
Until next time, keep safe.
